THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. SHARING YOUR MIND

SHARING YOUR MIND

Genesis 15:1-14
“But Abram said, "Lord GOD, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?"” (V. 2) NKJV

Sometimes we need to learn to share our minds with God. This is part of prayers. You can do when you are alone with God. It is not a sin against God when you share your mind. This can actually lead to the next revelation or instruction to glory.

God called Abraham and promised to make him the father of nations. Abraham found grace so much that he was able to wait and follow God from time to time. There came a time when Abraham, as a man, was getting fed up. So as God was sharing with Him in a vision, he also opened up his mind to God. “But you have refused to give me a child”, I could hear Abraham speaking. Instead of bottling it, he rather expressed it. He told God bluntly exactly the way he felt, and God brought him into a bigger revelation.

Friend, create time to sometimes share your mind with God. Let it be when you are alone and speak out to express yourself. This is not in the prayer method this time, but openness of mind. Only do not abuse God, but sincerely express yourself (Job 2:9-10). This is better than weeping always and growing in tension. God will listen to you and give you a revelation of glory. He will shine His light on your way and bring you to a brighter hope. At last, you will enter your joy. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me grace and wisdom to share with you for my progress.

“IT IS BETTER TO SHARE WITH GOD THAN WITH MAN”
