LOVE DEFINED I John 4:7-11 Devotional:- “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love” (V.8) NKJV Today, many people have been put into great trouble simply because they are looking for love. Since the nature of man cannot enjoy living without a lover, everyone searches for one wholeheartedly. If you find anyone who says he doesn’t need love from anyone, he is not sincere. He will soon find himself in desperate need of love. Since love is a universal need, men always seek for it, and most people never find it. There are quite a lot of things men term love, which are not, and has inturn misled and confused them. Until you can define your need, you may not have them met. This necessitates the need to truly define love. The scripture we read today gave us the true meaning of love. And you will be wise to embrace the word of God. It said, “God is love” (1 John 4:8). SERVING THE LORD

Mark 10:35-45
Devotional:- “And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all” (v.44) NKJV


    Serving the Lord is a medium through which you reach out to other lives. The devil is drawing many away from God. It is the lifestyle of the world to be selfish. Everyone is thinking about themselves, and the language of people has become me, my and mine. This is prophetically said about the end time (2 Timothy 3:1-2). Surprisingly, this is also becoming a factor against the service of many to the Lord. But you should know that God is your hope and your future.
Service is using your gift, talents, time, strength or opportunities to bless others. No matter what may be happening in the world, please always give yourself to the service of the Lord. Do not let your challenge become an excuse. Do not let your progress or success become an excuse. Do not let your expansion or growth, which is given by the Lord, become an excuse. If King David loves to serve as an usher in God’s house, you should also love to serve the Lord (Psalm 84:10).

Jesus told us that service is the way to our promotion. Give your life to the service of God, and your life will be sickness-free (Exodus 23:25). You’ll find your promotion and lifting in life (Mark 10:44). You will just discover that God’s favour is coming on you, and you will be fulfilled. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, strengthen me to serve you always. 

“THE GLORY OF A MAN IS ALWAYS HIDDEN IN SERVICE”.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
