THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. FAITH IN HIS NAME

FAITH IN HIS NAME

Acts 3:9-16
Devotional:- And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. (V. 16) NKJV

One of the strengths given to the believer in God is the name of Jesus. God did not leave us to walk through the challenges of our life without a key to always open to us the doors of healing, power and grace. And this is the name of Jesus. God’s word says God has given us a name that is above every other name. The name is given to us to unlock the power of God and to overcome the forces of the enemy.

It is therefore very important that you learn to operate this name. This is because without it, you may not be able to access God to overcome in this world. In the scripture we read today, a man was healed by God, though Peter was the centre of attraction. But Peter told us how? He said by faith in His name. This tells us the power in that name.

You and I must therefore take a fervent faith in the name of Jesus according to the word of God (Philippians 2:5-11). Always take this name in your mouth. Declare it by faith in the face of any situation confronting you, and you will have your Victory.

Prayer: Lord, strengthen my heart in your name.

“THE NAME OF JESUS IS THE KEY TO GOD’S POWER HOUSE”
