So help is a need of people who are looking forward, people who have vision or people who are pursuing a life goal. If you consider yourself in need of help, then you are just one of the people on the path of success. This help could vary from the need for the right people’s assistance, counselling, or money and material. We need to understand with clarity that at any period in time, we will surely reap what we have sown (Galatians 6:7). And so we must keep sowing help into the life of others to reap help. LOVE DEFINED

I John 4:7-11

Devotional:- “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love” (V.8) NKJV


Today, many people have been put into great trouble simply because they are looking for love. Since the nature of man cannot enjoy living without a lover, everyone searches for one wholeheartedly. If you find anyone who says he doesn’t need love from anyone, he is not sincere. He will soon find himself in desperate need of love. Since love is a universal need, men always seek for it, and most people never find it. There are quite a lot of things men term love, which are not, and has inturn misled and confused them. Until you can define your need, you may not have them met. This necessitates the need to truly define love.

The scripture we read today gave us the true meaning of love. And you will be wise to embrace the word of God. It said, “God is love” (1 John 4:8). This mean God is love personified. It is His character and attitude. You can always define God as love. That is the characteristic of God. This means love cannot be genuine or good until it is of God. Therefore, for you to give love, you must give God. And since no one can give what he does not have, you cannot give love, nor can anyone give you love except they are godly. Remember, God’s kind of love is not sexual, parental, or friendship love. It is a sacrificial love (1 John 4:9-10).

Have you observed that it is not natural for a man to forgive, tolerate, endure, submit, overlook offences, encourage you always and be kind for long? Except he is godly and allows God’s Spirit to rule his life. To expect love from an ungodly man or woman is like expecting a river in a windy desert. It is almost a mission impossible. Friend, stop expecting true love from ungodly people. It is only in the character of God to love. Flesh and blood only lust, but Godly people will always give love, for it is in their nature. From now on, you will know true love.

Prayer: Lord, let your love nature dwell in me.

“IF YOU WANT SOMEONE TO GIVE YOU LOVE, GIVE HIM GOD”

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
