JOY OF PARENTS

JOY OF PARENTS Proverbs 15:11-21 “A wise son makes a father glad, But a foolish man despises his mother” (V.20). NKJV One of the things that brings perpetual joy and gladness to parents at their old age is the lives of their children. When a man sees his children living right, prospering and serving God, it brings great joy that no one can take away from him. Many parents are living in sadness because of the terrible lives the children are living, but the truth is that they never invested the “wisdom” of the word of God in these children when they were young. They left these children to live their lives the way they wanted, now the consequences are manifesting. Beloved, if you want to have joy in your old age, plant into your children now the word of God that can make them wise, and when they are wise and behave wisely, your joy will know no bounds. Prayer: Lord, help me to raise Godly children. “YOUR CHILDREN ARE YOUR TREASURES”

FAITH IN HIM

FAITH IN HIM

1 Corinthians 16:13-18
Devotional:- “Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong” (V. 13) NKJV

To be established in faith demands that you establish your faith in God. The Bible says those who come to Him must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). In the experience of our walk with God, there are occasions when our heart wants to doubt if God really exist.

This is because of a particular way we expect God to work, and He is not working in the mode of our mind. Then we ask if God is really there?

But if you look back on your past experiences in life, you will observe so many things that happened in your life, and they would not have happened except for God. This same God will still do many great things in your life. That is why you must keep building your faith in Him.

This is by reading and rehearsing to yourself the acts of God, both in His word and in your life. Believe that He is with you according to His promises. Believe in Him to perfect all things concerning your life and destiny. Give Him praise always for what He has done and believe Him for the one He will still do.

Prayer: Lord, I thank you and I believe you for your promises in my life.

“IF YOU KEEP LOOKING UNTO HIM IN FAITH, YOU WILL SOON SEE YOUR GLORY”
