  PROMISES Isaiah 55:1-13  Devotional:- “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (V.11) NKJV One thing that is common with lovers are promises. It is part of what a true lover will want to hear. To a true lover, a promise is like a cheque capable of turning into cash. So when people who love us promise us, we cherish the promises. And when we remember them, it gladdens our heart. We even sometime feel happy enough to share it with other friends. One other terrible thing that is common with people is failing to fulfill promises. That is why it will be unwise to marry someone based on mare promises. These failure in promises of people, in some cases, are due to the inadequacy of human strength, or unforeseen circumstances that can overtake the promises, so the promised often feel deceived. THIRST

Scripture: Isaiah 55:1-13
Devotional:- "Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price (v. 1) NKJV

   As citizens of the kingdom of God, you must know that God is not a waster of His virtue. If you want the grace to grow and be like Jesus you must be thirsty for God (John 7:37-38). The reason many don’t grow in the church is because they are not thirsty for God. It is important we come to know that we are the one that need God.

Jesus said blessed are those who hunger and thirsty for righteousness for they shall be satisfied. The truth is that God will not reveal Himself to you more than you are thirsty for Him. If you always come to Him as less important or only when you have a need or time you will always struggle with Him and will always need a middle man to get to Him.

God is your father and you should not lack what your father has. But if you don't seek God with all your heart you may not find Him (Jeremiah 29:13). There is nothing like casual Christianity. You are either belonging to God or not. A true Christian is a full time Christian and part time of all other things. In other word you are to remain a Christian 24/7 no matter where you are or what you are doing. Make up your mind to surrender your heart to God totally and you will find Him. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, help me to take my relationship with you serious.

"It is only what you are thirsty for that you get"

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
