  PALMS OF HIS HAND Isaiah 49:14-20  Devotional:- “See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.” (V.16) NKJV Sometimes in the course of the journey of life, we look at ourselves and ask questions. Who created me? Why am I created? Such times make life look not worth living; ungodly men at such times could consider death as a better option than living. When they see others laughing, they ask, what is making them laugh? Friend, Your laughter will soon come. Do you know that you are a special creature of God? The scripture we read today said you are inscribed in the palms of God’s hand. That means he loves you and is not willing to forget you. In Isaiah 49:15, He said, others could forget you, but He will not. When a man is in love with a woman, they take the pictures of each other all around in their books, bags and even in their bible. SURRENDER TO GOD

Scripture: Romans 6:1-14

Devotional:- And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God (v. 13) NKJV

     The word surrender look too foolish to the language in the world of winning, succeeding, don't give up or overcoming. But we can only be disciples of Jesus and be like Jesus when we surrender to Him (Romans 12:1). We don't surrender to God with a sense of fear or duty but love. (1 John4:9-10,19). We often don't surrender to God because we don't realize how much God loves us. So we always want to control our own life. For us to be able to surrender to God, we must be able to trust Him, then we can trust our life into His loving hands. We must also admit our limitations and weaknesses, then we can trust in His help.

Surrendering does not mean giving up rational thinking but it is demonstrated in obedience to God no matter what. It means to trust Him to be faithful to His promises. It means waiting patiently for Him (Psalm 37:7). It means not rushing to defend yourself or react to criticism. Everyone eventually surrender to something. No matter what, your life is controlled by something. That is why you should determine who controls your life by submitting to Jesus. People’s lives are controlled by opinion of others or expectations, money, fear, pride, inferiority complex, lust, or ego. But a true disciple of Christ will surrender to God in all things. That is when we can be like Him. Peace

Prayer- Lord, help me to totally surrender to you in all things.

“He who does not surrender to God has to surrender to an idol”.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
