  UNFORGIVEN Genesis 4:1-11 Devotional:- “So the LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen?” (v.6) NKJV It is ignorance for people to think unforgiven is a way of paying back people who offended them. Unforgiven is actually not against anyone but against oneself. It is always a trick of the enemy to steal our joy. Any time the enemy sees people happy, he always uses the trick of unforgiven to steal their joy. This is because he knows that joy will produce our strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Cain could not forgive his brother, and the enemy helped him develop his unforgiven into bitterness till he became a murderer and destroyed himself. He could not succeed on earth. Observe that when some people offends you, it makes you get bitter and unhappy. If you even try to keep it off your mind as though it does not affect you yet, when you remember or see the person, your mind suddenly becomes sorrowful and bitter. CHRIST COMMISSION

Scripture: Matthew 28: 16-20

Devotional:- Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,v.19 NKJV

 

     A primary assignment of every disciple is to fulfill the assignment of the master. That is why the goal of discipleship should be to make people fulfill the great commission. Those who don’t partake of the great commission are not disciple of Christ. This is because it is what concerns  the master that should concern true disciples.

Christ commissioned and commanded all believers in our scriptures today into what we call the great commission. Jesus, having secure the power in heaven and earth commanded us to go and make disciples of all nations. Which means, we, as followers of Christ should labor to bring others to Christ and work on them till they become like Jesus also.

This work is to encourage them, follow them up and show them the way of the Lord. Studying the word of God with them and been an example for them to emulate. This is a life time assignment Jesus has given to all believers. You must look for all avenue to participate in this for Christ to recognize you as His disciple indeed. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, give me grace to obey the great commission.

"You are only a disciple when Christ commission becomes your commission"

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
