  SETBACK Genesis 39:10-21 Devotional:- “Then Joseph's master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison” (v.20) NKJV Most people do not yet understand that what we call a setback, a lot of time is a set-up to set us to our top. Setback, as viewed by people, is demotion, but it is rather an opportunity to retreat and re-fire for greater victory. When the purpose of a thing is not known, men are bound to abuse it. Today, we read about Joseph, who was thanking God for being promoted from a slave to a house overseer. He always tried to put his best into his assignment, and by this, he always had joy. At this time, the enemy wanted to damage his testimony by the temptation of sin, but he stood his ground for God (2 Timothy 2:22). But then he faced something like a demotion to prison. QUIET TIME

Scripture: Psalm 32:1-11
Devotional:- For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him (v. 6) NKJV

    The word of God says there is time for everything (Ecclesiastic 3:1) That is why each of us who desire to be like Jesus should create a time when we know we can seek Him in an acceptable way. This is the time to grow through His word to learn to be like Him.

In the scripture we read today the Bible mention the fact that there is a time that God can be found. In such time, you worship and thank the Lord. This is a time you create a systematic study of the word and pray it into your life. This is a time when we will not be distracted by other things. It is always better early in the morning. This is when the activities of the day has not demanded for our attention. To other it may be in the afternoon in the office. Just be sure you can be alone with Jesus (Psalm 63:1, Isaiah 26:9).

It is so important you set aside a time daily and not any time. Any worthy course demand steady time. The moment you appoint a time everything about you  get adjusted expecting your attention to God. The Holy Spirit will always help us when we make up our mind to seek the Lord. And we shall grow up to be like.

Prayer: Lord, give me a heart for you.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
