HE NEVER REJECTS YOU

HE NEVER REJECTS YOU John 6:24-40  Devotional:- “All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me]” (V 37) AMPC Sometimes we imagine God in our mind with the understanding and the likeness of men. We view Him as someone we have to really beg to ever experience His favour or help. The truth is that there are several reasons responsible for this. One of them is that man, by his nature, could reject a fellow man. So when we think of coming to God or returning to Him, we feel in our mind that we are too bad to be accepted. We need to understand that our feelings about God cannot be the best way to describe Him, like His word. Even though we feel like that, yet, the word of God, which is the truth, says, whoever comes to Him, He will never reject. He is never interested in the death of a sinner but that he repents and be saved (Ezekiel 18:23). This is part...

CHARACTER OF CHRIST

CHARACTER OF CHRIST

Scripture: Ephesians 4:17-24

Devotional:- “And that you put on the new man which was created a- cording to God, in true righteousness and holiness” (v.24) NKJV

A disciple of Christ is known basically by their character. The word of God says it was in Antioch that believers were first called Christian (Acts 4:24) A Christian is Christ like in behavior and attitude. That is why each of us should carefully observe the character of Jesus and emulate Him as our Lord.

Our character development affects our personality in Christ. It also affects our identity with the behavior of Christ, integrity and morality. To grow our character, we need to identify the character of Jesus when we are learning the word of God, also we need to realize our own character to compare with that of Jesus. We need to be sincere to acknowledge if we have character flaws or spiritual weaknesses. It is not as we come to the Lord that we grow to maturity, but we must start from somewhere. It is a curse to remain a baby for life. So, take up quality examination of your character to grow in Christ. Until people around you can call you true Christian then you have not started. Every child of God must put off the old nature and put on the character of Christ. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, make me to be like Jesus.
