  CHILDREN OF GOD I John 3:1-3  Devotional:- “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him” (V.1) NKJV One of the unique things on earth is that, each one belongs to one family or the other. Some are from a great family, their name sounds great, and others are from a family that is not well-known. The truth is that, the lineage each of us belongs to, sometimes speaks and shows in our live. Those who are seen as children of great people in the world are often counted as privileged. But the scripture we read today is aimed at making you appreciate the privilege of being a child of God. It doesn’t matter whether you are born into a great family on earth or not. FAITH

Scripture: 2 Corinthians  10:12-18

Devotional:- “Not boasting of things beyond measure, that is, in other men's labors, but having hope, that as your faith is increased, we shall be greatly enlarged by you in our sphere” (v.15) NKJV

     One of the assignments of a disciple of Jesus is to grow in faith. To grow in faith is to increase in the confidence we have in God through the knowledge of the word of God. A child of God that is not growing in faith will always face defeat and intimidation of the devil (1 John 5:4).

To grow in faith, a child of God must give himself or herself to studying the word of God and reading books written by men of stronger faith. Since God give us grace according to the measure of our faith, we then need to recognize the fact that some people are stronger in faith than us and we must humble ourselves to learn from them.

God will not need to reveal some things to us since we can gain the light of it from men and women He has given them to.

Friend, to grow in faith, we must humble ourselves to study books and listen to messages of men of Faith, so that we can tap into the grace through them. As we also give ourselves to meditating in the word of God, we cannot but increase in faith. The testimonies of the word of God increases our faith in God. Walking with the people of faith also gives you access. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, increase my faith

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
