  YOUR OPPONENTS     1 Peter 5:5-11 DEVOTIONAL:- “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” (v. 8). NKJV When a man does not know his opponent, he will be totally ignorant of the way to victory. Most people always make the mistakes taking man as their enemy. As God’s children, we must come to understand that the forces against us are the forces of the devil, though they always use people. God’s word says we are not fighting against flesh and blood but against principalities (they take territorial government), against powers (master spirit), rulers of the darkness of this age and against the spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). These are forces of God that fell with the devil, and their powers were not taken from them (Revelation 12:7-9). FAITH

Scripture: 2 Corinthians  10:12-18

Devotional:- “Not boasting of things beyond measure, that is, in other men's labors, but having hope, that as your faith is increased, we shall be greatly enlarged by you in our sphere” (v.15) NKJV

     One of the assignments of a disciple of Jesus is to grow in faith. To grow in faith is to increase in the confidence we have in God through the knowledge of the word of God. A child of God that is not growing in faith will always face defeat and intimidation of the devil (1 John 5:4).

To grow in faith, a child of God must give himself or herself to studying the word of God and reading books written by men of stronger faith. Since God give us grace according to the measure of our faith, we then need to recognize the fact that some people are stronger in faith than us and we must humble ourselves to learn from them.

God will not need to reveal some things to us since we can gain the light of it from men and women He has given them to.

Friend, to grow in faith, we must humble ourselves to study books and listen to messages of men of Faith, so that we can tap into the grace through them. As we also give ourselves to meditating in the word of God, we cannot but increase in faith. The testimonies of the word of God increases our faith in God. Walking with the people of faith also gives you access. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, increase my faith

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

ALTERNATIVES II Kings 5:1-15 Devotional:- “Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?" So he turned and went away in a rage”. (V12) NKJV      It is always the trick of the devil to make us lose sight of God. So he often makes us see alternatives to God. His own goal is to take people away from God. The enemies so much make his way look easy and quick but with eternal implications. That is why you need to grow your faith and not yield to his tricks. The devil’s alternative will always be with covenants that bind into darkness.
