  PALMS OF HIS HAND Isaiah 49:14-20  Devotional:- “See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.” (V.16) NKJV Sometimes in the course of the journey of life, we look at ourselves and ask questions. Who created me? Why am I created? Such times make life look not worth living; ungodly men at such times could consider death as a better option than living. When they see others laughing, they ask, what is making them laugh? Friend, Your laughter will soon come. Do you know that you are a special creature of God? The scripture we read today said you are inscribed in the palms of God’s hand. That means he loves you and is not willing to forget you. In Isaiah 49:15, He said, others could forget you, but He will not. When a man is in love with a woman, they take the pictures of each other all around in their books, bags and even in their bible. PROCESS OF DISCIPLESHIP 

Scripture: Mark 8: 34-38
Devotional:- When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me” (v.34) NKJV

  
    Just like any other process of production, to become like Jesus also demands that we go through a process. It is in the course of going through the process that we begin to look like Him. Everyone that come to Jesus are like raw materials but we must not remain raw in our relationship with Christ. Some people have been in the Church for decades yet they are still the same as they came.
The process of becoming like Jesus begins from we making a firm decision to belong to God. It has to be firm because the devil through the flesh will contend with our decision. No one will truly be committed to Christ if they had not submitted their lives unto Him or take Jesus as their Lord and Savior (Luke 5:8). We must therefore seek to know Him by relating with Him through His word. We must then covenant our life to walk with God in total and not partial relationship (Genesis 17:1).

This then enrolled us into the desire to learn of who God is to us, what Christ does for us what we are by right in God and what is our responsibilities as disciples of Christ. This will cost us quality time in learning to relate and obey Christ. This will demand our commitment and devotion to the course of the kingdom of God. By this we will keep growing from level to level as we learn to be like Him in our attitude and character. It is then we become and light and are able to help others go through the process. Then we can stand for Jesus and obey Him in all situation. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to totally surrender to you.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
