TRANSFORMED BY TROUBLE 2 Corinthians 4:7-18 Devotional:- “For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!” (V. 17) NLT  God has a purpose behind every problem. God depends more on circumstances to grow our character than reading the Bible; this is because we have challenging circumstances twenty four seven. The word of God made us to see challenges in our life as normal (1 Peter 4:18). Your deepest expression of worship is mostly in the darkest days. It is during suffering that we learn to pray our most authentic, heart-felt and honest prayers to God (James 5:16). God would have kept Jeremiah from the throne to the pit, Joseph from been thrown into the jail, Paul from been shipwrecked or the three Hebrew from been thrown into the fire but he left those problems to himself. CAPACITY

CAPACITY

Scripture: 1 Corinthians  14:1-5

Devotional:- “Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy” (v.1) NKJV

Our capacity in life is demonstrated by what we can do. It determines the result we can get by our ability in God. This is often the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, talents and our special abilities. When we receive the Holy Spirit, this experience was accompanied with the gifts of the spirit. Talents are traits of ability that is connected to our family linage. Special abilities are virtues we have developed our skills in doing through practices.

To grow in capacity is to be able to do what we cannot do when we first believed. You used to be an ordinary church member before, a time should come that you should be able to handle unit head and even pastor a church.

This can happen as we are thirsty to be useful vessel of God. That is why you also must experience and fellowship  with baptism of the Holy Spirit (John 7:37-38) That way you will be fanning to flame the gifts and the grace of God in your life  (2 Timothy 1:6) Observe and keep using your gifts, talents and special ability to serve in your church with submission to Christ and your leaders. Then, God will keep promoting you. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, make me a useful vessel in your house.

“Whatever you are using will be growing”
