  REMOVE SORROW Ecclesiastes 11:7-10 Devotional:- “Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, And put away evil from your flesh, For childhood and youth are vanity” (v.10) NKJV One of the strongest weapons the devil uses against our lives is sorrow. The most common problem most people have is sustaining their joy. The truth is that no one can succeed with sorrow. See, it is the goal of the devil to keep you in sorrow. When you are sad, he celebrates. This is because he knows the effect of sorrow, which most of us are unaware of. Many things encourage sorrow in the human life; some of such are disappointment and discouragement. Some people ignorantly have sorrow because of their bitterness toward everyone, even against God and themselves. But you need to know that when you are sorrowful, you can't relate with God for solution. In sorrow, a man’s mental, spiritual and physical systems are broken down (Proverbs 15:13). FRUIT BEARING

Scripture: John 15:1-8

Devotional:- "By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples".  v.8 NKJV

    We can identify a disciple by the fruit he bears. A disciple of Jesus will live like Jesus, talk and behave like Jesus. This is an evidence that he is following His master.

Jesus said we must be in close relationship with Him to be His disciple. The word of God said we need to abide in Him. This is an intimate relationship that makes us to accurately emulate the master. Any one can not be in a very close relationship with Jesus and not be able to bear the same fruit with Jesus. (Proverbs 13:20).

Please understand that we bearing Christian names does not make us Christians. Jesus said by their fruits you shall know them (Matt 7:20) These fruits are the life style of following the master. They are the fruit of the spirit (Gala 5:21). In John 15:8, Jesus said, it is only when our lives bears the fruits of the spirit that we can be called the disciple of Jesus. This means, each of us can measure if we are of Christ or not. Take time to keep close relationship with the word of God and the people of God and you will bear the fruit of Christ. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, make me a fruit bearing Christian.

Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
