  SHARING YOUR LIFE MESSAGE 1 John 5:6-13 Devotional:- “He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son” (V. 10) It is important we know that when we become believers we also become God’s messengers. God want to speak to the world through you (2 Corinthians 2:17). As messengers of Christ we must be willing to share the gospel wherever we find ourselves. Our life messages have four parts. Your life message includes your testimony. This is the story of how Christ has made a difference in your life (1 Peter 2:9). True witnesses are to simply reporting what happen to them or what they saw. These are all about; what my life was before I met Jesus, how I realized I needed Jesus; how I committed my life to Jesus, the difference Jesus has made in my life. FRUIT BEARING

Scripture: John 15:1-8

Devotional:- "By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples".  v.8 NKJV

    We can identify a disciple by the fruit he bears. A disciple of Jesus will live like Jesus, talk and behave like Jesus. This is an evidence that he is following His master.

Jesus said we must be in close relationship with Him to be His disciple. The word of God said we need to abide in Him. This is an intimate relationship that makes us to accurately emulate the master. Any one can not be in a very close relationship with Jesus and not be able to bear the same fruit with Jesus. (Proverbs 13:20).

Please understand that we bearing Christian names does not make us Christians. Jesus said by their fruits you shall know them (Matt 7:20) These fruits are the life style of following the master. They are the fruit of the spirit (Gala 5:21). In John 15:8, Jesus said, it is only when our lives bears the fruits of the spirit that we can be called the disciple of Jesus. This means, each of us can measure if we are of Christ or not. Take time to keep close relationship with the word of God and the people of God and you will bear the fruit of Christ. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, make me a fruit bearing Christian.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
