  UNDERSTANDING YOUR SHAPE Jeremiah 1:4-12 Devotional:- “I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.” (V.5 NLT) As a people crated to serve the Lord, God has design each of us in a unique way to be able to serve Him. We are so uniquely created that no one can find your duplicate. If you don’t contribute your part to the body of Christ God will make a replacement. (Act 1:20).  Look at the meaning of your shape the letter “A” represents your SPECIAL ABILITY. These are special abilities and talents given to you from birth. It is important we come to know that all our special abilities come from God.(Rom 12:6 ). So many people often give excuses of not having any ability to serve God but research shows that each of us has variety of 500 to 700 abilities. SELF DENIAL

Scripture: Matthew 16:24-28

Devotional:- "Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me" (v.24) NKJV

    An important factor in the process of becoming like Jesus is that you must deny yourself to be able to follow Him. Self is the major hindrance to our work with God. By self, I mean the flesh, this is the human nature in us. This human nature has been cultured into sinful and selfish life. The flesh does not want to please God (Romans 8:5-8). So those who are ruled by the desires of their flesh cannot please God.

If anyone want to be a disciple of Jesus, he/she must deny the flesh to satisfy God. Our body is made to help us relate with the physical world, but we must put it under control so that it does not send us to hell.

Every attempt you made to please God, your human nature will not support it. So you deny it by not allowing it but yielding to the Holy Spirit and the word of God. It is then you can begin to grow into the likeness of Christ. Your ability to say No to the flesh and Yes to God is a good step towards maturity. Then His beauty shall be seen on you. Peace

Prayer - Lord, give me the enablement to yield to you always.

“Every man is either yielding to God or flesh”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
