  GOOD REPORT   Proverbs 15:28-33 Devotional:- “The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, And a good report makes the bones healthy” (v.30) NKJV Today, in the whole world, the only kind of news celebrated by men is bad news. The reporters have also realised that people want bad news. So, they hardly report good things. If you listen to the news, read from the media or browse through the net, it is all about evil things happening all over the world. This is the trick of the enemy to cage the sons of men into sorrow and break the flow of joy in the lives of the people. The scripture we read today says, “good report makes the heart glad”. You must recognise the principle of a joyful life. It is a product of regular joyful reports (Proverbs 25:25). It is what you love to hear that your life will look like (Mark 4:24). you must know you are a product of what you are hearing. CARRYING THE CROSS

Scripture: Luke 9:23-27

Devotional:- "Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me" (v.23) NKJV

    Disciples of Jesus must know that we must pass through pain to access our gain. It is not going to be easy to change from what we have grown up to be for several years. It will be painful experiences to unlearn the wrong we have been so used to and adjust to the will of God. God’s word says even Jesus suffer to learn obedience to God (Hebrews 5:8).

Each one has to carry his/her own cross to be able to follow Christ. Cross here refers to inconveniences. Until we are ready to go through inconveniences, we may not be able to adjust to Christ. Pain is a sign of dislocation and the solution is to relocate to God. God trains His own children with challenges and we don't call it problem (Hebrews 12:6-11). A boxer need to fight to win. So, fighting is a challenge and not a problem. So braze up and stop complaining or weeping. God is your father. He loves you and cannot fail you (Deuteronomy 8:2-3). Refuse to turn back from following the Lord notwithstanding your situation. Your faith is just been tested and when you pass you will be promoted (James 1:12). God has prepared you for what you are going through and He knows you can overcome (1 Corinthians 10:13). So rise up and be strong. You will surely pass (Romans 8:18). Peace

Prayer – Lord, give me the grace to stand strong.

“The strength to stand is in the standing“

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
