  LOVE OF GOD I John 4:7-19 Devotional:- “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God” (V. 7) NIV You can hardly separate these two virtues; they are love and joy. They work together as twin brothers. You cannot love and not be joyful. In this season of joy, one of the things you must give room to for your joy to come is love. If you were not billing to love, you may not see joy. They have the same source; they both come from God (Psalm 16:11, 1 John 4:8) The scripture we read today said, Love comes from God and love is God. This means God cannot be in you and you can still hate. If you do, it is a sign that you are not born of God. You cannot be stealing and cheating, and you say you are a child of God. CARRYING THE CROSS

Scripture: Luke 9:23-27

Devotional:- "Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me" (v.23) NKJV

    Disciples of Jesus must know that we must pass through pain to access our gain. It is not going to be easy to change from what we have grown up to be for several years. It will be painful experiences to unlearn the wrong we have been so used to and adjust to the will of God. God’s word says even Jesus suffer to learn obedience to God (Hebrews 5:8).

Each one has to carry his/her own cross to be able to follow Christ. Cross here refers to inconveniences. Until we are ready to go through inconveniences, we may not be able to adjust to Christ. Pain is a sign of dislocation and the solution is to relocate to God. God trains His own children with challenges and we don't call it problem (Hebrews 12:6-11). A boxer need to fight to win. So, fighting is a challenge and not a problem. So braze up and stop complaining or weeping. God is your father. He loves you and cannot fail you (Deuteronomy 8:2-3). Refuse to turn back from following the Lord notwithstanding your situation. Your faith is just been tested and when you pass you will be promoted (James 1:12). God has prepared you for what you are going through and He knows you can overcome (1 Corinthians 10:13). So rise up and be strong. You will surely pass (Romans 8:18). Peace

Prayer – Lord, give me the grace to stand strong.

“The strength to stand is in the standing“

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
