  GIFT AND GRACE Romans 12:3-8 Devotional:- “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith”(V. 6) NIV   One of the means through which we can demonstrate our love to others is by using the grace and the gifts that are in our lives. As a child of God, you are privileged to enjoy two levels of gifts. The first are the talents and gifts. The second are the gifts of the Holy Spirit. There is no one who is not talented in one area or the other. It may be to cook, sing, design, draw or write. It could also be in the area of sport or decoration. But as a child of God, there is another dimension of gifts in your life given by the Holy Spirit. These are gifts of prophecy, healing, knowledge, wisdom, working of miracles, discernment of spirit, diverse tongues or interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:6-10). CARRYING THE CROSS

Scripture: Luke 9:23-27

Devotional:- "Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me" (v.23) NKJV

    Disciples of Jesus must know that we must pass through pain to access our gain. It is not going to be easy to change from what we have grown up to be for several years. It will be painful experiences to unlearn the wrong we have been so used to and adjust to the will of God. God’s word says even Jesus suffer to learn obedience to God (Hebrews 5:8).

Each one has to carry his/her own cross to be able to follow Christ. Cross here refers to inconveniences. Until we are ready to go through inconveniences, we may not be able to adjust to Christ. Pain is a sign of dislocation and the solution is to relocate to God. God trains His own children with challenges and we don't call it problem (Hebrews 12:6-11). A boxer need to fight to win. So, fighting is a challenge and not a problem. So braze up and stop complaining or weeping. God is your father. He loves you and cannot fail you (Deuteronomy 8:2-3). Refuse to turn back from following the Lord notwithstanding your situation. Your faith is just been tested and when you pass you will be promoted (James 1:12). God has prepared you for what you are going through and He knows you can overcome (1 Corinthians 10:13). So rise up and be strong. You will surely pass (Romans 8:18). Peace

Prayer – Lord, give me the grace to stand strong.

“The strength to stand is in the standing“

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
