  LIVING IN YOUR PURPOSE Ecclesiastics 4:1-6 Devotional:- "Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind” (V.4)   One of the most frustrating things in life is when people don’t know what exactly to live for. In that case they just live doing whatever they find others living for.  So many people live their lives driven by guilt. So they keep regretting their steps and past. Some live all their lives on resentment and anger. So many lives are in disarray because they are victims of transfer of aggression. So many lives are driven by fear of many things, so many live their lives driven by materialism, so they live a live that is never satisfied pursuing money. Other lives are driven by the need for approval. So it is what people say about them that determine their joy. The best way to live is to be driven by purpose for which God made you.  When you allow God’s purpose for your life...

FAITHFULNESS

1 Corinthians 4:1-5
Devotional:- “Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful” (v. 2) NKJV

    It is require of every disciple to be faithful. One of the most difficult attitude for most people today is faithfulness. This is because of the temptation of greed and selfishness. When people have waited long for a prayer to be answered it is possible to become desperate and when this is not effectively managed it can result to unfaithfulness.

In the scripture we read today, the scripture thought us of the importance of faithfulness in stewardship. As disciples of Jesus, much is committed into our hand to be a light and a guide for other to come to the knowledge of Christ. That is why it is compulsory to be faithful. To be faithful is to be trust worthy, reliable and constant. Our situation and strong desires for solution should turn us to God and not to unfaithfulness.

 

If we will keep following the Lord then we must be loyal and steadfast. The master will hand over to us grace, revelations, instructions and gifts of the Spirit. We must always be faithful before God and man. Unfaithfulness could make a man looses his entire reward in life and eternity. It makes king Saul to lose his throne. It makes Gahazi to lose his opportune position. It makes Judas to lose eternity with God. Let us be faithful. You will not lose your place in Jesus name. Peace!

 

Prayer: Lord, help me to always be a faithful disciple of Christ 


“One day of unfaithfulness can cancel a life time faithfulness”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
