  PROTECTING YOUR CHURCH’S FAMILY James 3:13-18 Devotional:- “Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace” (V. 18) Understanding that the second purpose of God for man is to belong to the church family, there is therefore a strong need for you to protect the unity of your church. Unity is the soul of fellowship. Nothing on earth is more valuable to God than the church because he paid the highest price for it and He wants to protect it. For you to be able to protect the unity of your church, you need to focus on what you have in common and not your differences (Rom 14:19). God wants unity and not uniformity. God made our differences and that should be respected. We must not let our differences divide us. To protect the unity of your church you must be realistic in your expectations from people. Don’t over expect. We need to give up the thought that the church should be perfect and admit that we all are not perfect people but people that wants to be perfec...

POWER OF DISCIPLESHIP

Scripture: Acts 4:5-13

Devotional:- "Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus".  (v.13) NKJV

    After Jesus had ascended to heaven, the disciples received the Holy Spirit and they were witnessing for Jesus everywhere. Because of a notable miracle; they were called to question by the authority. There, they noticed their boldness and courage and observed they have been with Jesus.

Something of noteworthy is that this disciples were not educated or exposed, but they traced their life to Jesus. If they were not properly disciple by Jesus, it will not be so. By the way Jesus had disciple them, they were as bold as Jesus and this is because Jesus discipled them well. They were able to stand in the will of God and uphold the gospel to the end of their life. They were willing to die for the gospel of Jesus because they were well discipled for Christ.

Friend, if you will not turn back from Christ because of situation around and make eternity with Christ, then chose to grow as a disciple of Jesus. People must be able to trace your life to Jesus. Your character, attitude and your words must not betray you. Refuse to be an ordinary church member. Take time to grow by knowing the Lord. Let your children and spouse know the Lord. It will be of eternal value to you . Peace.

Prayer:- Lord, make me and my home disciples of Jesus.

“ Disciples are not children but sons of God”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
