Though some will complain that life is unfavorable to them, you should know that your case is different. That is why you should see opportunities everywhere and in all things. Our scriptures today taught us to be willing to let what we do go beyond our immediate environment. In other words, don't limit your market scope to where you are. In most cases, we don't often realise the fact that a product may not be appreciated enough in the environment of its producer. In m...

AREAS OF A GROWTH

Scripture: 2 Peter 3:14-18

Devotional:- “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen” (v.18) NKJV

As citizens of the kingdom of God, there are areas of life that we need to grow to be like Jesus. These areas encompasses different dimension of our spiritual need for a balanced Christian life. Though we should grow in Christ in every areas of our lives, but let us group these areas to about five, for easy growth structure.

The first area a disciple of Christ should focus on to grow like Jesus is in our character. This has to do with our behavioral habits which characterized us before God and man (1 Timothy 4:12). The second area is the area of our capacity. This has to do with the development of our ability to use our gift and talent to help and advance the kingdom of God, yet in a godly way (1 Corinthians 12:7).

The third is our understanding (Ephesians 1:17-18). Our understanding of the ways of God determine how much we can get done in God. Fourth is our relationship with God and people. This is growing in love with God and man. And fifth is our faith in God. Every time we are studying the word of  God, these  are areas we should seek to learn and know more in  God. And we shall be growing up  in the Lord to be like Jesus as true followers of Christ. Peace.

PRAYER:- Lord, help me to grow in all things in Christ

“Growth is  only growth when it is balanced.

DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

WAYS ON WATER Exodus 14:10-22 Devotional:- “So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.” (v. 22) NKJV      The enemy's trick in the lives of so many people today is to make them believe that they have come to their crossroads and that the road has ended. So many always agree with this deceptive thought, which leads to their frustrations. The enemy makes them look at situations around them as evidence of his words. So, many people easily agree with the devil and become victims of his deceit.
