LIVING IN YOUR PURPOSE

LIVING IN YOUR PURPOSE Ecclesiastics 4:1-6 Devotional:- "Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind” (V.4)   One of the most frustrating things in life is when people don’t know what exactly to live for. In that case they just live doing whatever they find others living for.  So many people live their lives driven by guilt. So they keep regretting their steps and past. Some live all their lives on resentment and anger. So many lives are in disarray because they are victims of transfer of aggression. So many lives are driven by fear of many things, so many live their lives driven by materialism, so they live a live that is never satisfied pursuing money. Other lives are driven by the need for approval. So it is what people say about them that determine their joy. The best way to live is to be driven by purpose for which God made you.  When you allow God’s purpose for your life...

RELATIONSHIP

RELATIONSHIP

Scripture: 1 John 3:10-20

Devotional:- “We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death” (v.14) NKJV

A major area that a child of God should grow and be mature in is the ability to handle relationship with other people. Our ability to relate maturely with others goes a long way to determine how much we are growing like Christ. The Bible says “Jesus was growing in favour with God and man” ( Luke 2:52). This is maturity in relationship.

Growing in our ability to relate is a product of our growing the character of Christ and practice relationship  with other believers. We cannot stay alone and grow in relationship. This is a major benefit of fellowshipping with children of God. If anyone is excusing him/herself from fellowshipping with other believer, he/she will not grow in relationship.

It demands growth in character and attitude of Christ. Tolerance, endurance, patience with others and understanding. It demands our ability to forgive when people offends us. As we grow in relationship, it get to a level that people can no longer offend us. When Jesus was been crucified, He was asking for forgiveness for the people murdering Him. This is a very high level of maturity. This way, you will enjoy your everyday life with people. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, teach me to relate with all men

“Maturity in relationship makes you have peace with all”.
