That is, they get annoyed and refuse to relate to one another. Many of us have some people we don’t greet now on this account. Some people have taken offence at their parents and relations, and they refused to relate to them. The truth is that if you know the harm you are doing to yourself by so doing, you will give up on this.   In the scripture we read today, John the Baptist was not happy because Jesus did not come to rescue him from prison, and he took offence at Christ. He sent messengers to Jesus to ask if He was the Christ or not. This question see...

RESTORATION OF LIFE

RESTORATION OF LIFE

Scripture Reading: John 11:36-44
Devotional:- Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. (V. 41) NKJV

Sometimes, when things are going down, we become so scared. This is because in such times, we may not know what to do to bring it back to life. One of the mystery of praises is that it gets God involved in our situation (Psalm 22:3). That is why when we praise Him in such situation, He steps in and bring what is dead back to life.

Jesus got to the tomb of Lazarus and commanded the people to roll back the stone. He is the author of life (Act 3:15). He is the one that can connect man to life (John 14:6). Yet He needed to get God involved to restore life to the death and He gave thanks. Then, He called Lazarus out of the grave. And the dead man came out alive.

If you will start to praise God genuinely from your heart, that dead family situation, business or project will come back alive. Praises from a humble heart commits God to step into any matter for which you are praising Him. (Act 16:24-26). Stop celebrating the trouble, start to celebrate the God who can bring the dead to life. And God will restore life to your situation. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, as I praise you let me see the power of resurrection

“WHEN GOD STEPS IN, DEATH WILL GIVE WAY TO LIFE”
