VALUE YOURSELF 1 Peter 2:1-10  Devotional:- “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” (V. 9) NKJV If anyone is going to enjoy the love of God, he must see himself as lovely. One of the ways for someone to see themselves as lovely is by valuing themselves. You need to know that of all the creatures of God, not only on earth but also in heaven, you are the most special. According to the word of God, there is no other creature that is as valuable as you are. You are the reason for the labour of the devil (1 Peter 5:8). You are the envy of the demons. You are the envy of the angels. A great percentage of the angels are serving the heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14). The scripture we read today calls you a chosen one. That is, among the multitude, God selected you out for Himself. You are a royal priesthood, that is, you are a kingly priest...

COMPANY OF PRAISES

Scripture Reading: Psalm 1:1-6
Devotional:- Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; (V. 1) NKJV

    Another booster of praises is the company of praises. This is because the company you keep will influence your life (Proverbs 13:20) If a man is keeping an unbelieving friend, praises to God will be strange among them, if you start to say praise the Lord, they will turn it to laughing stuff, so unbelieving friends will not motivate you to praise God (James 4:4)

Some people do not know the way of the power of God. What they know is the natural way to getting result. Though that way could sometimes include some ungodly practices but as long as there is material result.

That is why you should choose who you will serve. So many people who come to church live a life of compromise and not border about been raptured with Jesus. But you should please locate the company of believers who fears the Lord. People who love to praise the Lord and honour Him, and you will live a praiseful life. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to keep a praiseful company.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
