  MY REFUGE Psalms 46:1-7 Devotional:- "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (V. 1) It is always very easy for men to say God is not good to them when they have a pressing need. But if you observe it carefully, wisdom will let you always appreciate Him. It is not every one that began this year that is still alive now. Many were faced with challenges greater than themselves and were swallowed up. If you listen to the reasons for their falls, they are not too great. The truth is that you also have passed through challenges greater than theirs, but God was your refuge. Anytime you run to Him, you will find a hiding place in Him. Even when it looks like the situation wants to swallow you, you still find strength for help in God. Do you know that you have been enjoying His refuge not because you are better but because He loves you? No matter what happens, do not be afraid, your lover is your refuge. RELEASING THE HARVEST         

Scripture Reading: Psalms 67: 1-7

Devotional:-Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us. (V. 6) NKJV

     One of the factors of frustration in life of many today is the challenges of lack of harvest. God in His faithfulness has covenanted to give harvest to every good sower with good seed. The Bible says “God cannot be mocked, whatsoever a man sowed he shall reap “(Galatians 6:7). That is why a righteous sower should not lack harvest (Psalm 37:25).


One of the secrets to provoke your harvest is your praise. The word of God says “let the people praise you, oh lord let the people praise you. Then the earth shall yield her increase. In other version, the earth shall yield her harvest. This means, when we continue to praise the Lord, God will visit our lives and water our seed (Psalm 65:9). He will make our harvest to come and bless us.

Friend, no matter what the situation may look like with your trade or your business, separate time to keep praising Him. Don't grumble like others. Why should God destroy you (1 Corinthians 10:10). Your harvest will come forth and your testimonies shall be known. Peace

 

PRAYER: Lord, help me to keep praising you till my harvest come.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
