  HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT Mark 10:35-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (V. 43).   The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, prestige and position but God determined your greatness by how many people you serve. This is quite contrary to the world view. Jesus called Himself servant and to be like Him is to be a servant. That is why it is so important to have a servant’s heart. God often test our heart by asking us to serve even outside our shape or area of interest. Your priority area of service should be in your area of shape, but God could demand for your service wherever needed. Looking at how a servant act is important because one could serve in a church for years and not be a real servant. Real servants make themselves available to serve. RELEASING THE HARVEST         

Scripture Reading: Psalms 67: 1-7

Devotional:-Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us. (V. 6) NKJV

     One of the factors of frustration in life of many today is the challenges of lack of harvest. God in His faithfulness has covenanted to give harvest to every good sower with good seed. The Bible says “God cannot be mocked, whatsoever a man sowed he shall reap “(Galatians 6:7). That is why a righteous sower should not lack harvest (Psalm 37:25).


One of the secrets to provoke your harvest is your praise. The word of God says “let the people praise you, oh lord let the people praise you. Then the earth shall yield her increase. In other version, the earth shall yield her harvest. This means, when we continue to praise the Lord, God will visit our lives and water our seed (Psalm 65:9). He will make our harvest to come and bless us.

Friend, no matter what the situation may look like with your trade or your business, separate time to keep praising Him. Don't grumble like others. Why should God destroy you (1 Corinthians 10:10). Your harvest will come forth and your testimonies shall be known. Peace

 

PRAYER: Lord, help me to keep praising you till my harvest come.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
