MEDITATION

MEDITATION Psalm 1:1-6 Devotional:- “But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night..” (v.2) NKJV      God’s word describes someone blessed because he/she meditates on the word of God, day and night. How can this be? The word of God is the source of inspiration that strengthens us to perform (John 1:1-3). The Bible told us that God is a spirit; therefore, meditating on the word of God is drawing on the strength of the spirit (John 6:63).

FOR HIS GOODNESS

FOR HIS GOODNESS

Scripture Reading: Psalms 107:1-9
Devotional:- Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! (V. 8) NKJV

God deserves the praises of His people. This is because He is good to humanity in all ways. That is why it takes the humble to praise Him. Oftentimes, we are so full of our needs so much more that we don't see the reason to appreciate all that the Lord is doing. Because we are so need driven, when God has done a thing what we are thinking of is the next one.

The truth is that the goodness of the Lord is in our healing, the air we breathe in and out, the goodness of the Lord is in our journey. The goodness of the Lord is in our eating and digestion. The goodness of the Lord is in our family care. The goodness of the Lord in the help and favour we enjoy from time to time. His provision is so wonderful in our lives.

That is why we must not stop praising Him. It will be an act of ingratitude to do so. Let His praise always be in your mouth. Then His goodness will continue in your life. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, let your goodness never stop in my life.

“IT IS IN THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD THAT YOU ARE GOOD”
