HE NEVER CONDEMNS

HE NEVER CONDEMNS John 8:1-11  Devotional:- “She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more”” (V. 11) NKJV One of the tricks the devil often used against man is to make us feel condemned. To be condemned is a feeling of self-judgment. It is the act of judging oneself to death when God has not. A man with condemnation cannot be bold or courageous. He cannot exercise faith. He cannot take a risk and so cannot find it easy to succeed. The truth is that God does not condemn man. So it is like man to feel condemned, and it is the handiwork of the devil. It was said about Jesus, “for God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that through Him might be saved” (John 3:17).  God has appointed Jesus to judge the earth. But that is not now. Condemnation is a feeling that one has been written off and is not worthy of living anymore. The only people who will face God’s final condemnation are those who refused to...

PRAISES

PRAISES

Scripture Reading: 1 Peter 2:4-10
Devotional:- "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light"; (V. 9) NKJV

Giving praises to God is an act of appreciating God for whom He has been to you. That makes praises personal a lot of the time. What God has been to you may be different from what He has been to me. For you He is a healer right now, for another He is a deliverer. That is why God is praise from the beginning to the end of every day (Psalm 113:3)

When you consider His daily work in your life, your sleeping and walking up, your going out and coming back in peace, your heart should give Him praises. God commanded us to always praise Him (Psalm 67:3). That is why when you are not praising Him, you are proud and sinning.

We are saved that we might show forth His praises (1 Peter 2:9). We also need to be praiseful to Him for keeping to His words and promises in our lives (Psalm 56:4). Stop complaining or grumbling. That will lead to stagnation (1 Corinthians 10:10)

Friend, when you can humble yourself to always praise Him, then you will start to see the power of praises. That is why David said I will praise Him at all times (Psalm 34:1). He said seven times a day do I praise thee (Psalm 119:164). As you choose to live a life of praises, you will begin to see His glory manifest in all areas of your life. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, let your praises always be in my mouth

“YOU CAN’T BE PRAISEFUL AND BE TENSED UP AT THE SAME TIME”
