THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. God is starting a brand-new thing with you. He is giving you new experiences of success and breakthrough. You need to lea...

LADDER OF LIFTING

LADDER OF LIFTING

Scripture Reading: Habakkuk 3:8-19
Devotional:- “The LORD God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills” (V. 19) NKJV

Praises as it were, only truly come out of the mouth of the humble. Praises is not just singing. It is an act of humbling exhorting the Lord. It is not for those who want to please people or demonstrate that they are somebody. Singing with a good voice does not make you give praises to God. God sees your heart and not your mouth (1 Samuel 16:7).

When your heart is humble to give praises to God, you are creating a ladder for your lifting. This is because God has promised to lift up the humble (Matthew 18:4; Matthew 23:12). It is the pride of the heart that makes people get stagnated (Luke 14:11). God gives grace to the humble but move far away from the proud (James 4:6). That is why a praiseful believer will always enjoy lifting in all dimension.

Friend, this empty ego will take you to nowhere. Most people live their lives in pride to demonstrate to people that they are somebody. If you are somebody, you will not need to show it. Those who are somebody are really somebody. There is no need for show up. Those who show up are nobody. Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God and you will be promoted (1 Peter 5:6). Some cannot kneel down for God because their clothes is more important. Start to praise the Lord from a humble heart. Then your lifting will be inevitable. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, give me a true humble heart to praise you.
