JOYFUL MAN  Ephesians 5:25-33 Devotional:- “So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself” (V. 28) NKJV Love is the summary of the great responsibility God has given to a man who wants to be happy in his home. Love is the attitude of the matured. Loving does not mean that all will be well. Loving your spouse is the act of molding and raising her for the best. That is why love in the family either to the spouse or the children should be with positive education (Ephesians 4:13-15). But love interprets so many things. Love is sacrificing time, money and self. It is creating time, money and self to help and build a united and happy home. Where there is love, there will be honour, which is the major weapon to win your wife (1 Peter 3:7). HAVING FAVOUR

HAVING FAVOUR

Scripture Reading: Act 2:40-47
Devotional:- “praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved” (V. 47) NKJV

A life of disfavored will always lack support and help. Disfavored is the opposite of favour. But this is not for a child of God. Our redemptive package is favour inclusive (Psalm 5:12). That is why the righteous cannot beg (Psalm 37:25). So, if you find a life of disfavor, then something is wrong somewhere. In most cases, it is inability to humbly praise God that hinder favour. In aability to humble yourself to praise God is a pointer to ingratitude. When people are ungrateful they have secret intimidation by the success of another person. When people are ungrateful they have secret fear of failure.

In the first church, there is a record of tremendous favour. The Bible told us the secret, and that is praises. This is because, praises makes man to please God (Psalm 69:30-31). The daughter of Herodias danced before Herod and he was pleased to give her anything to the half of his kingdom (Mark 6:21-23).

Friend, if you want to enter into the realm of favour, the secret is praises. The first church was praising God, such that God was bringing them all into favour. That God is still the same. If you will also give yourself unto praises, you will start to experience favour. And there shall be no more disfavor in your life in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, let your praises never depart from my mouth.

“FAVOUR IS FOR THE HUMBLE AND PRAISEFUL”
