OUR ROCK

OUR ROCK Psalms 18:1-3 Devotional:- Lord is my rock and my fortress and deliverer…” (V.2) One of the love emblems to us is that He is our rock. He is known as the rock of ages. Because He loves us, He is always there for us. Rock is a symbol of strength and confidence. The cleft of the rock is always a beautiful place of refuge. Water from the rock is always pure and cool. As part of His love for us, He has become our rock (I Corinthians 10:4). He is the rock of our salvation, of our peace and protection. The bird eagle lives on the rock above the reach of the enemy. The water on it is refreshing and clean, far above the reach of the dust. The cave of the rock is always very cool and secure, far above the reach of either the arrow of the enemy or the scourging of the sun. This is who Jesus is for us. We may pass through challenges in this world, but we are sure of our victory because the rock is always there for us. He is our trust. He is our stronghold. He will never reject nor ...

DESTROY DEPRESSION

DESTROY DEPRESSION

1 Samuel 1:8-18
Devotional:- “And she said, “Let your maidservant find favor in your sight.” So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad” (V. 18) NKJV

A major problem confronting most people today is depression of the heart. To be depressed is to be conquered by one’s situations. It is to give in to defeat and be down (Psalm 43:5). Depression is a terrible situation that can make a life miserable. The reason for unproductive life is depression. The moment people give in to depression they will remain in a circle and struggle to progress.

Hannah was in a state of depression because of her situation. Depression is a product of ingratitude. Not seeing what God is doing. Depression is a product of self-intimidation by the blessings of others. Depression is a product of fear of never rising. Depression is a life that has lost control of life to sorrow. God uses Hannah’s case to push her to pray and she later turn to praises. Some people will even keep distance from God or be blaming God for their situation.

Friend, if you will destroy the power of depression over your life, the solution is to count your blessing. Turn your anxiety to God in prayers and by faith begin to praise Him for answered prayers. Then the burden of heaviness shall be lifted away (Isaiah 61:3). Your entire system will then be set free by the Spirit of God. Then you will have access to your miracle baby. The yoke of depression is broken away from your life and family in Jesus name.

Prayer: Lord, help me to turn to praises to remove the garment of heaviness over my life

“YOU CAN GAIN BACK YOUR JOY BY COUNTING YOUR BLESSINGS”
