CELEBRATION 2 Chronicles 30:21-27 Devotional:- “So there was great joy in Jerusalem, for since the time of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel, there had been nothing like this in Jerusalem” (v.26) NKJV When we make ourselves available for the service of the Lord, we plug our lives into joy. This is because we are actually created to serve the Lord (Revelation 4:11). And when anyone finds himself doing what he is created to do, he finds fulfilment. The children of Israel in the time of Hezekiah, the king, gathered together to celebrate the feast of Passover. This was one of the feasts God commanded. This celebration is an opportunity to serve the Lord. They came together to yield in obedience to God’s instruction, and this produced great joy among them. Some cooking, some cleaning and others involved in other things just to make the feast successful. See, you need to know that you are not just created to go to school, work, earn, build a house, buy cars, have a wife, childre...

GRATITUDE

GRATITUDE

Scripture Reading: Colossians 3:12-17
Devotional:- "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful". (V. 15) NKJV

Gratitude is an act of been grateful. As beautiful as gratitude could be, it is a virtue that is so scarce among the sons of men. This is because of the proud nature of our hearts. This is because of our selfish intension or motives.

Ingratitude in the presence of God is a great sin (Romans 1:21). Ingratitude is a product of a futile heart. This is a heart that is not patient enough to diligently produce results. He is too desperate to see what God is doing, so, always complaining (1 Corinthians 10:10). Ingratitude is pride. Ingratitude is an affliction of the devil to stagnate a soul and punish the destiny. Only the fools are ungrateful. This will only leave a soul in darkness and confusion (Romans 1:21).

Friend, for any life to become productive, such must be grateful to God in all situations (1 Thessalonians 5:18). This demands much humility and sincerity. This demands the understanding that God is good to you all the way. If any expectation is yet to come, they will come and God is not to be blamed. Face the reality and stop blaming anyone. He keeps you when you and your family sleeps. He provide for you in time of need. He heals you and your family. He open doors of help for you. Humble yourself to praise Him always. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to always be grateful to you.
