  JOY John 16:16-24  Devotional:- “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” (V. 20) NKJV God’s word says when sorrow endures till a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). This is an assurance and evidence that what is called sorrow is not a permanent situation in the life of a child of God. This is because it is certain that when a night comes, morning is always the next. The night is evidence of the coming morning. This is evidence that what you are going through right now will soon result in joy. In fact, the tougher it is, the closer the joy. May you see it. The scripture we read today gave us a new dimension of hope in our lives. Jesus said, our sorrow shall turn to joy. That which we think is a thing of sorrow shall suddenly become a thing of joy. Jesus likens it to a woman who is in labour. Women in this state often feel as if the end has come. But ...

CONQUEROR 

Scripture Reading: Exodus 15:1-10
Devotional:- Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the LORD, and spoke, saying: "I will sing to the LORD, For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea! (V. 1) NKJV

    God is mightier than your imagination. He is bigger than your thinking. There is no trouble that can wait before Him. Whatever you see as a mountain today is nothing but just like a tissue paper before God. If you can provoke Him to arise with your praises, your enemy will come and beg you. It will not take more than praises. 

Pharaoh and the best of his horse rider pursue Israel to destroy them, but God is in the midst of His people. He told Moses to stretch forth his rod and the Red Sea parted. The children of Israel went through a dry land in the midst of the sea. The Egyptians decided to follow them but God closes the sea up on them. God conquer the strongest army of their time. The devastation of God’s performances since that time has put Egypt out of relevance till date.

Friend, please humble yourself to live a life of praises to the Lord, He will turn you to a conqueror. He will swallow up your troubles. He will disgrace what is embarrassing you. How? He is in control of even the air we breathe in and out. He can use anything to fight. He can toil with the decision making ability in anyone. Those who says no to you can call you back to say yes. The way out is praises. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, open my understanding to see your power.

“THERE IS NO ONE THAT SEES GOD THAT WILL NOT RUN”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
