MY REFUGE

MY REFUGE Psalms 46:1-7 Devotional:- "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (V. 1) It is always very easy for men to say God is not good to them when they have a pressing need. But if you observe it carefully, wisdom will let you always appreciate Him. It is not every one that began this year that is still alive now. Many were faced with challenges greater than themselves and were swallowed up. If you listen to the reasons for their falls, they are not too great. The truth is that you also have passed through challenges greater than theirs, but God was your refuge. Anytime you run to Him, you will find a hiding place in Him. Even when it looks like the situation wants to swallow you, you still find strength for help in God. Do you know that you have been enjoying His refuge not because you are better but because He loves you? No matter what happens, do not be afraid, your lover is your refuge. PROMISES OF GOD

PROMISES OF GOD

Scripture Reading: Psalm 119:161-168
Devotional:-  "I rejoice at Your word As one who finds great treasure." (V. 162) NKJV

One of the booster of praises is to always celebrate the promises of the word of God. This is thanking God because of the promises He has fulfilled and the one He will still fulfill. This is an act of faith. The word of God says “Hannah went her Way, ate and her face was no longer sad” (1 Samuel 1:18). This is celebrating the word of God.

Whenever you receive a promise of the word of God, turn it to praises. Begin to thank God for the promises. And it shall be established in your life. Most people want to see result before thanking God. This is because the revelation of the word of God is not clear to them. Learn to thank God ahead of result (John 6:11, John 11:41-42). Then you will hasten up your results.

Whenever a word of prophecy is given by a prophet of God, it is the one you celebrate that will become your heritage. To enforce the promises or prophecy of the word of God, you need to start to celebrate it ahead of time (1 Timothy 4:14-15). If your child come to you to thank you ahead of a promise, you will be forced to do it, so also God. So, always appreciate the word ahead and you will see the word manifest speedily. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for your promises in my life
