FLOATING AXE

FLOATING AXE Devotional:- 2 Kings 6:1-7 “So the man of God said, "Where did it fall?" And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float’’ (V.6) NKJV  Sometimes when we read about some great wonders of God in the Bible, something makes us feel it was because the people were very special. But we need to know that they are men of like passion (James 5:17-18). They were just exactly like we are, but they were only men of faith. This makes God to work wonders through them. The sons of the prophet needed a big place of dwelling. So they decide to cut trees to make a new home. Thank God they requested that Elisha should go with them. As they were cutting the trees, the axe head fell into the deep river. And the man of God asked the Holy Spirit for what to do. The Holy Spirit was what they also depended upon, and there was a miracle. Friend, you also have the Holy Spirit. That stick is the word of God. Speak to the sinking situatio...

ACCESSING HIM

ACCESSING HIM

Scripture Reading: Psalms 100:1-5
Devotional:- Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. (V. 4) NKJV

Often time, we complain of prayers not been answered. This is really not true about God. This is because He has covenanted to answer every prayer

(Matthew 7:7-11). One of the issue in prayer is often not having the audience with God. There are procedures to approaching God. These begins with Praises and thanksgiving. We often overlook these, thinking that God understands. Yet, you should know that He will not divorce His covenant (Psalm 89:34). To access God’s gate, you must learn the habit of thanksgiving. To move to the court room, it is praises that will lead you there.

Anytime you gain access to the throne room, you will enjoy mercy and help (Hebrews 4:16). Why not make this your life style? Why not sing and dance your way before God to come out of that issue? We are no more in the days of religion. This is the days of personal relationship with God. In His presence, your mountain will melt away (Psalm 97:5). Stepping there, is stepping into your liberty. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, lead me to your court always.
