  MY REFUGE Psalms 46:1-7 Devotional:- "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (V. 1) It is always very easy for men to say God is not good to them when they have a pressing need. But if you observe it carefully, wisdom will let you always appreciate Him. It is not every one that began this year that is still alive now. Many were faced with challenges greater than themselves and were swallowed up. If you listen to the reasons for their falls, they are not too great. The truth is that you also have passed through challenges greater than theirs, but God was your refuge. Anytime you run to Him, you will find a hiding place in Him. Even when it looks like the situation wants to swallow you, you still find strength for help in God. Do you know that you have been enjoying His refuge not because you are better but because He loves you? No matter what happens, do not be afraid, your lover is your refuge. DOORS OF NEW INSIGHT

Scripture Reading: 2Kings 3:6-19
Devotional:-  But now bring me a musician." Then it happened, when the musician played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him. (V. 15) NKJV


    Part of the blessings of a praiseful life is gaining new insight of life. This is because when we are praiseful we keep a joyful heart notwithstanding situations. As a result of that, our heart gain liberty and openness by the help of the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:17, Isaiah 12:3). And God can minister understanding to us. That is why only with joy can draw water from the well of salvation (Isaiah 12:3).

Elisha, the man of God need to hear what the Lord is saying. Then he requested for someone to sing praises to God. Then heaven was opened for an insight.

Friend, instead of getting more confused, why not turn to God in praises. The tension by anxiety cannot produce any good result (Matthew 6:27). Why not turn to praising God? He will open your eyes of understanding. He will lead you to the deep for the multitude of fish. He will restore your light and understanding. You will become counselor to the king like Joseph and as resourceful as Solomon. You will be unstoppable. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, help me to always turn to your praises in all situations

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
