NOT AUTOMATIC

NOT AUTOMATIC Philippians.1:1-11 Devotional:- “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns” (V.6 NLT) Knowing fully well that spiritual growth is one of your purpose of been on the earth, then you also need to know that developing Christ-like character takes years, it is not automatic. We open to God bit by bit. Discipleship is the process of conforming to Christ (Romans 12:2, Ephesians 4:13). The truth is that the journey to Christ-likeness is a life time journey. Growth involves believing, belonging (through fellowship) and becoming (through discipleship). Every day God want you to become a little more like Him (Colossians 3:10) Today we are interested in speed but God is interested in strength and stability than swiftness (2 Corinthians 3:18). The reason it takes time to grow is because we are slow learner. We often have to relearn a lesson forth or fifty times to reall...

WHAT IS THE TRUTH

WHAT IS THE TRUTH

Read: John 8:31-36
Devotional:- “And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free” (V.32)

All that man need to be free from all bondages of life is the encounter with the truth. The truth is a mystery and the secret of the power of God. All these are hidden in the in the word of God (Proverbs 25:2). Having the knowledge of the truth is like knowing the working power of God. The truth is that no one handles power and will not attempt to use it. When something is yet to work for you in God, don’t ever think God is a failure. It is only that you do not have the truth about the matter yet (Hosea 4:6).

Knowledge of the truth does not just come by mere reading of the Bible but by the revelation of the Holy Spirit. Though these truths are all stated in the Bible but can only be unfolded by the help of the Holy Spirit (John 16:13; Deuteronomy 29:29). It is the realm of light that produces the strength to shine (Isaiah 60:1). When you know the truth your life and destiny will be free. You become master over your enemies (Psalms 119:97-100)

To enjoy this realm of revelation you will need to be thirsty for it. Ask, seek and knock as you meditate over the word of God (Matthew 7:7). Pray for the help of the Holy Spirit. Then read books written by inspired men of God and you will find liberty from sickness, failure, devil and all his works. It’s your day!

Prayer: Lord, open the secret of your word to me by the Holy Spirit.
