  GOOD SPOUSE 1 Corinthians 7:1-5 Devotional:- “Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband” (v.3) NKJV One of the greatest places where God expects love to be demonstrated is in the family, and most strongly between the husband and wife. It is a pity that this generation does not have many spouses enjoying true love in their relationships. Many have turned the home into a children-producing factory, and there is nothing strong that ties them together. And today, men can no longer understand the purpose of God for instituting marriage. The scripture we read today gives us some great instruction for our distinction in this world of destruction. God’s word says, "Each should render to one another due affection." Affection is love. God expects you to love each other (1 John 4:7). It is as you love each other that the atmosphere is created for God to mend and amend things in the house. Understand that the word 'love'...

JOINT HEIRS

Read: Romans 8:14-17 
Devotional:- “And if children, then heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if we indeed suffer with Him that we may also be glorified together” (V.17)


    It is important that you identify who you are in Christ Jesus. Living as what God says you are and not as what people or situation says you are. This is right self-esteem. This is how you can by faith enforce the will of God over your life and destiny.

The scripture we read today says since you are a child of God, you are qualified as heir of God and joint heir with Christ. Heirs are the people entitled to the inheritance of a father. These scripture simply bring you to the equal level with Christ in having access to the grace of God. He is the first son of God and the rest of us are born after Him (Romans 8:17). 

It is therefore implied that whatever Christ is entitled to is what I am also entitled to. He was never sick so I must not. He was never poor so I must not. He was never defeated by any situation either in the office, school or in the house so I must not. He entered in to glory so I shall. He is lifted so I am. He lived and fulfilled His destiny so I shall not die prematurely but to live and fulfill my destiny. Nothing could stop Him, not even death, so nothing can stop me. Arise and be free in Jesus name. 

Declaration: Whatever is contrary to my destiny in Christ must leave now. 

“IF YOU ARE HEIR THEN RISE AND CLAIM YOU RIGHT”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
