  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. CONFESSION  

Read: Hebrew 10:19-24 
Devotional:- “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promise is faithful” (V.23). 


    The reason why our word is so important to our life is because it is the product of our heart. Our heart is the source of all that will befall us in life (Matthew 12:34). So since the Holy Spirit birthed faith into our heart whatever comes out of our mouth determines our life (Proverbs 18:21). So what you say to yourself will surely hold. What people are saying does not have as much effect as what you say by yourself. Faith is the confession of that which is good and perfect will of God concerning our lives and situations.

 Sometimes our mouth says what our heart did not really mean but faith is through your heart. The scripture we read today said we should hold on to the confession of our hope in God. 

Friend, if you have faith in God, if you see a better tomorrow of yourself, learn to declare it. What you declare has gone ahead of you to become. Don’t forget we are created in likeness of God. You create by what you say (Genesis 1:3). Start to speak God’s word and it shall surely manifest in your life. 

PRAYER: Lord, help me to always put your word in my mouth.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
