THANK HIM FOR ALL

THANK HIM FOR ALL Zechariah 4:1-10 Devotional:- “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; His hands shall also finish it and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you” (V. 9) KJV In such a season as this, one of the weapons of the devil to steal the joy of many is discouragement. The enemy will make them see that God has not been good to them. He will make us to think of what God has not done, and not what He has done. He will make us compare ourselves to others and so one will see other people as better.   God can provide all that you need, and He is not mindful or unfaithful to you. He gave you the one you have today, but all that is good for your life. He will also give you if you can wait on Him by faith. Such time like this should challenge us to become better to do better. Every time you are not happy with your current situation, just know that a change is about to take place in your life. It is now you who will determine ...

WAITING ON THE LORD

WAITING ON THE LORD

Read: Luke 2:21–33
Devotional:- “And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.” (V.25)

One of the acts of faith that moves God is our ability to wait on Him. This is faith, since God made the promise; I must wait to see the fulfillment. I discovered that there is a power that can stop death and that is faith. humanity has not fully understood that they determines their lot on earth. Whether to die or to live is your choice no matter the situation (Deuteronomy 30:19). So you can wait for as long as you desire to see God’s glory.

The man we read about today was an old man named Simeon. God promised that he will see the Messiah and he waited based on this promise until it was fulfilled. Job said, I refuse to die until I see my change (Job 14:14). David said I shall not die but live to witness His testimony (Psalm 118:17).

Friend, don’t let life drive you to destruction of death of any kind. Wait upon the promises of God for your life, family or business. The moment you assume the state of waiting on God’s word in your mind, all destruction and death shall be suspended and the strength of your health, career, studies and business shall be renewed (Isaiah 40:31). When you learn the mystery of waiting on the Lord, you have learnt the mysteries of becoming younger as though you are starting afresh. No matter what the case may be, never you give up, wait on the Lord and death shall be suspended from your life.

Declaration: I will wait till I see my change.

“DON’T LET YOUR THOUGHT TRICK YOU INTO CONCLUSION, NEVER GIVE UP”
