  GOOD SPOUSE 1 Corinthians 7:1-5 Devotional:- “Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband” (v.3) NKJV One of the greatest places where God expects love to be demonstrated is in the family, and most strongly between the husband and wife. It is a pity that this generation does not have many spouses enjoying true love in their relationships. Many have turned the home into a children-producing factory, and there is nothing strong that ties them together. And today, men can no longer understand the purpose of God for instituting marriage. The scripture we read today gives us some great instruction for our distinction in this world of destruction. God’s word says, "Each should render to one another due affection." Affection is love. God expects you to love each other (1 John 4:7). It is as you love each other that the atmosphere is created for God to mend and amend things in the house. Understand that the word 'love'...

STATE OF HEART

Read: Mark 11:20–26 
Devotional:- “So Jesus answered and said to them, “have faith in God” (V.22).

    Even though God is so powerful and mighty many of us have limited the manifestation of His power in our life all the while. This is due to the state of our mind. The state of your heart of is what determines the state of your faith.

 In the scripture we’ve read, Jesus was expecting fruits from a tree and He did not find any, so He cursed the tree (V.14). At that time the disciples did not understand the power that has gone out with that word. But when they were coming back the second day, one of them noticed the tree Jesus cursed had dried. He then called the attention of Jesus to it. But Jesus said, “Have faith in God”. Another version said, “Have faith of God.” That is God’s kind of faith. He then explained God’s kind of faith. That when we speak to a mountain to move and we doubt not in our heart it shall be so. This means the state of your heart towards God determines how heaven will respond to you. 

Friend, the state of your heart needs to be in positive state all the time. That is why you need the help of the Holy Spirit.  If you can just change your mind and decide to be positive and never negative (doubtful) you will always have what you are asking (Mark 11:23). Many are too pessimistic to walk with God. They always expect evil and negative. Please ask for the grace for a positive mind, your life has no option than to respond to your heart (Proverb 23:7). 

Prayer: Holy Spirit, help me to grow a positive hear. 

“THE HEART OF THE PROBLEM IS THE PROBLEM OF THE HEART”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
