No matter how much people persecute you, they cannot hinder your destiny. It shall surely be released at the appointed time. The enemy may be doing so much to stop you, but they cannot stop your destiny.   Joseph was a man with opposition and challenges, yet they were not able to stop his destiny. EXPECTATION

EXPECTATION

Read: Acts 3:1-10
Devotional:- “So he gave them his attention expecting to receive something from them” (V.5).

God the creator of heaven and earth has great expectations concerning all his creation (Jeremiah 29:11). But what determines individual’s portion on earth is your expectations. Most people expect failure and disappointment; they cannot see themselves competent enough for greatness in life. They see themselves unqualified for the realm of glory, but they never knew that they are victims of their own expectations.

Some people often think that we are sincere to expect negative. This is because we have a wrong (unbiblical) view of ourselves. We often want to base our hope on our experiences and not on God’s promises. As a result we keep having what we are expecting. That man we read about today had an expectation to receive something from the disciples and he received his miracle.

Friend, what do you expect of your life? Stop being ignorantly sincere; your negative sincerity of yourself is of the devil. Whatever is contrary to God’s word about you is not of God, so drop them. God’s word says you are born to reign (Psalm 8:6). God’s word says you are an overcomer (1 John 5:4). God’s word says you are able in Christ (Philippians 4:13). Start expecting according to His word and you will soon leap for joy. Your situation will work out miraculously and you will become an amazement. Your light has come.

Prayer: Lord, give me a heart of great expectation for a great destiny.

“LIFE WILL ONLY BE UNTO YOU ACCORDING TO YOUR EXPECTATIONS”
