HOURS OF PRAYER  Acts 3:1-10 Devotional:- “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour” (V.1) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional HOUSE OF PRAYER Support Us Acts 3:1-10 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Most people only pray or want to pray when they are faced with challenges. But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him.   Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). Jesus spent many of his nights praying and the days working. And when He was teaching the disciples, He said, “Pray lest you fall into temptatio...

HOLY SPIRIT

HOLY SPIRIT

Read: John 16:5-15
Devotional:- “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come (V.13)

It should be settled in your heart that you are a spirit being. You are not just an ordinary flesh like mere animal. You are more than a mere biological being. Please know that one spirit or the other influences all human being. There are two major spirits that controls the human life; the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of God) or the un-holy spirit (The spirit of the enemy). No one is free from either of this spirit. No neutral ground and no vacuum. All of us have either of them.

Jesus came to deliver man from un-holy spirit and to baptize us with the Holy Spirit and you can enjoy the same baptism (Matthew 3:11). It is not received just by going to the church but by asking for it (Luke 11:13). That is why many so called Christians are still with the spirit of the enemy. The truth is that no one is a child of God except the one that has His Spirit (Romans 8:14, 19). When you have the Holy Spirit you can easily use the weapon of God.

To receive the Holy Spirit, you must desire it with a thirsty heart (John 7:37-38). Then create time to set yourself apart to ask for His filling and as you ask by faith, He will baptize you (Luke 11:13). That is, you will be full of God’s fullness. Notice that you are the one to open your mouth to speak. Speak and He will fill it (Psalm 81:10).

Prayer: Lord, baptize me with your Holy Spirit.

“IT IS EITHER YOU HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT OR UN – HOLY SPIRIT”
