It is a pity that this generation does not have many spouses enjoying true love in their relationships. Many have turned the home into a children-producing factory, and there is nothing strong that ties them together. And today, men can no longer understand the purpose of God for instituting marriage. The scripture we read today gives us some great instruction for our distinction in this world of destruction. God’s word says, "Each should render to one another due affection." Affection is love. God expects you to love each other (1 John 4:7). It is as you love each other that the atmosphere is created for God to mend and amend things in the house. Understand that the word 'love'...

SUBSTANCE OF REALITY 

Read: Hebrews 11:1 -3
Devotional:- “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (V.1)


    The body of Christ will need to be careful to really understand the core message of the bible which is faith. When it is not in place, nothing good can be accomplished, even God cannot be pleased (Hebrews 11:6). Therefore it becomes very important to give attention to the subject of faith. Faith is the foundation for our salvation (Ephesians 2:8)

Many often attempt to operate human confidence to experience the manifestation of God but to no avail. A confidence without a sure substance will crumble to failure. True confidence can only come through the revelation of the word of God. No one can actually assume a state of rest without a substantial assurance. You can't see and not believe. This is a product of the Holy Spirit showing you the reality of the word when you meditate in it (Ephesians 1:17-18). It create a rest above doubt. 

Friend, start to read the bible with a heart to receive the substance (revelation) of the word. When you contact the living word, it will create evidence that is substantial in your heart. As you read the scripture and locate the promise, meditate on it. The Holy Spirit will grow a divine confidence in you for your manifestation. Peace. 

Prayer: Lord, open my eyes to see the power in your word.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
