  GOOD SHEPHERD John 10:11-16  Devotional:- "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gave his life for the sheep”. (V. 11) Shepherds are one of the most caring people on earth. They value the lives of the sheep. They risk their life many times to save the life of the sheep. They follow the sheep wherever they go and lead them To green grass where they enjoy fresh food for their nourishment (Psalms 23:1-6). Their presence comforts and secures the sheep. They cannot tolerate the loss of any of them. So they watch over it so dearly. If anyone is missing, they take pains to look for it till they find it, and when it is found, they celebrate it (Luke 15:4-7). So also is the love of Jesus to you. He is your good shepherd. That is why He laid down His life for you. He died that you might live. He cares for you (I Peter 5:7). He cannot afford to see you in suffering.     We need to come to the awareness of the potency of the God we serve. He can do all things. He created the heavens and the earth. He created the mountains and the sea, He parted the red sea; He brought water from the rock and what else can He not do. If you see true greatness happening in the life of anyone today, it is through Him and there is nothing He cannot do (Luke1:37, John 3:27).

I am glad to let you know that he can also do mighty things in your life, if only you can believe. Jesus said all things are possible to him that believes. This simply means, the omnipotence of God thrive in our faith. In the case we read today, something has proved impossible for the disciples of Jesus, when Jesus came he accused them of their faithlessness. 

Friend, your current situation is simply due to your lack of faith. If Jesus steps in, the situation will submit. You only need to put your faith in place. Faith is not trying to see what we can do but believing in what He can do through us. This demands that we wait on Him to reveal to us the way (Psalm 32:8). Then our faith will be strong. This is when we will be confident to step into the miraculous. Do you know that you can rise again? Do you know that you can be back on stage even more powerfully? You can be given back your place. This year God will surprise you. If you can believe all things are possible. 

Prayer: Lord, I claim back what belongs to me with faith in the name of your son. 

“WHATEVER YOU BELIEVE IS POSSIBLE”

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
