  SETBACK Genesis 39:10-21 Devotional:- “Then Joseph's master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison” (v.20) NKJV Most people do not yet understand that what we call a setback, a lot of time is a set-up to set us to our top. Setback, as viewed by people, is demotion, but it is rather an opportunity to retreat and re-fire for greater victory. When the purpose of a thing is not known, men are bound to abuse it. Today, we read about Joseph, who was thanking God for being promoted from a slave to a house overseer. He always tried to put his best into his assignment, and by this, he always had joy. At this time, the enemy wanted to damage his testimony by the temptation of sin, but he stood his ground for God (2 Timothy 2:22). But then he faced something like a demotion to prison. THE BLESSING OF THE LORD

Deuteronomy 2:1-7
Devotional: “For the LORD your God has blessed you in all the work of your hand. He knows your trudging through this great wilderness. These forty years the LORD your God has been with you; you have lacked nothing."' (V. 7)


    Everyone desire to see the blessing of the Lord. But we need to be told that God also want to demonstrate His blessing through our work by faith (Hebrews 11:40). So, people should not talk about the blessing of the Lord if they don't embark on a paticular assignment by faith.

In the scripture we read today, is the testimony of God’s blessings in the life of the children of Israel. This blessing was speaking in the work of their hand. Some think the moment they have an employment, they have a work. The truth is that employment gives us opportunity to work but if you are idle in that office you may not expect the blessing of the Lord.

Friend, God want to bless the work of your hand, so get yourself to work. God wants to make you a solusion to the problems in the office. Ask God for solution to the problems in the office where you work. Then obey Him by faith. God is seeing all you are doing and He want to make you experience His blessing that the world might see His glory in your life. But what are you doing to solve the problem, the work or bring a positive change where you are? Are people seeing your efforts in that home or office. If you want to see the blessing of the Lord, then sit down to consider your work. We have allowed the devil enough. Let God manifest His blessings through you. Peace. 

PRAYER: Lord, make me an instrument of positive change in my office.

“THAT BUSINESS WILL BE BLESSED WHEN IT IS BLESSING PEOPLE”

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
