  GOOD SPOUSE 1 Corinthians 7:1-5 Devotional:- “Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband” (v.3) NKJV One of the greatest places where God expects love to be demonstrated is in the family, and most strongly between the husband and wife. It is a pity that this generation does not have many spouses enjoying true love in their relationships. Many have turned the home into a children-producing factory, and there is nothing strong that ties them together. And today, men can no longer understand the purpose of God for instituting marriage. The scripture we read today gives us some great instruction for our distinction in this world of destruction. God’s word says, "Each should render to one another due affection." Affection is love. God expects you to love each other (1 John 4:7). It is as you love each other that the atmosphere is created for God to mend and amend things in the house. Understand that the word 'love'...

THE BLESSING OF THE LORD

Deuteronomy 2:1-7
Devotional: “For the LORD your God has blessed you in all the work of your hand. He knows your trudging through this great wilderness. These forty years the LORD your God has been with you; you have lacked nothing."' (V. 7)


    Everyone desire to see the blessing of the Lord. But we need to be told that God also want to demonstrate His blessing through our work by faith (Hebrews 11:40). So, people should not talk about the blessing of the Lord if they don't embark on a paticular assignment by faith.

In the scripture we read today, is the testimony of God’s blessings in the life of the children of Israel. This blessing was speaking in the work of their hand. Some think the moment they have an employment, they have a work. The truth is that employment gives us opportunity to work but if you are idle in that office you may not expect the blessing of the Lord.

Friend, God want to bless the work of your hand, so get yourself to work. God wants to make you a solusion to the problems in the office. Ask God for solution to the problems in the office where you work. Then obey Him by faith. God is seeing all you are doing and He want to make you experience His blessing that the world might see His glory in your life. But what are you doing to solve the problem, the work or bring a positive change where you are? Are people seeing your efforts in that home or office. If you want to see the blessing of the Lord, then sit down to consider your work. We have allowed the devil enough. Let God manifest His blessings through you. Peace. 

PRAYER: Lord, make me an instrument of positive change in my office.

“THAT BUSINESS WILL BE BLESSED WHEN IT IS BLESSING PEOPLE”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
