LOOKING UNTO HIM

LOOKING UNTO HIM Psalms 34:1-7 Devotional:- “They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed” (V. 5) NKJV To enjoy the love of God for us, we must learn to keep looking unto Him. The scripture says, they looked unto him and were not ashamed. No one trusts in Him who will be ashamed at the end. It is amazing that Joseph, whom they sold as a slave, eventually became a ruler. Because that is God’s plan for Him (Genesis 45:1-9). Amazingly, Abraham, who had no children for almost a hundred years, at last became the father of eight children before he died (Genesis 25:1-2, 9). These are proofs of God’s faithfulness. Because He also has a plan for each of us, He does not want us to be discouraged or frustrated, but rather to keep looking unto Him. This is because He has a plan for us, and it shall surely come to pass. That is why He said, "I know the plans that I have for you; they are not of evil, but good, to give you a hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). H...

JESUS WORKS

JESUS WORKS

John 5:16-23
Devotional – “But Jesus answered them, "My Father has been working until now, and I have been working." (V:17)

Jesus who is the image of the father to man is working. He caused all kinds of positive change in the life of people around Him when He was physically on earth. He healed the sick, He raised the dead, He provided what people need. These are products of His work.

One of the greatest sin most people commit today is that, they want to avoid working. They see work stressful. Please know that it is working in obedience to God that is called faith. It is important you know that whoever is not working is sinning, because whatever is not of faith is sin (Romans 14:23). This is becuase God has made heavy investment in your life that can be used to effect change in the lives of others. It is irresponsibility and waste to pray and not ready to work because the answer to our prayers always come inform of an instruction. As kingdom citizen we have what it takes to effect a change in our world like Jesus did. We will be sinning if we don’t.

Friend, your life becomes needed when you work. It begins from your home. Take responsibility to do something with the energy of God in your life. This energy is from the instruction of the Word or ideas of God that drops in your heart when you pray (Act 13:2). Every work has profit (Proverb 14:23) Our state of life today is determined by our work. God desire far better life for us, but it will come through our work by faith (Hebrews 11:40). He can only bless the work of our hand (Deut. 2:7). Arise and work. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to arise in your strength to work

“WORKING IS USING WHAT YOU ARE GIVEN TO BLESS OTHERS”
