DEFINE PLEASURE  Proverbs 21:12-21 Devotional:- “He who loves pleasure will be a poor man; He who loves wine and oil will not be rich.” (v. 17) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional DEFINE PLEASURE Support Us Proverbs 21:12-21 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com There is nothing wrong with pleasure, but there is a need to define what it means in a way that it will not bring destruction to you. Pleasure to most people means idleness, sleeping, jesting, watching T.V and all sorts of films, extravagant spending at beer parlous and hotels, eating in all the city kitchens and to some it is just travelling all around. GOOD WORKS

GOOD WORKS

Matthew 5:13-20
Devotional: "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (V. 16)

It is in the plan of God that you fulfill your destiny on earth. This therefore demands that you observe your ability to achieve this. Jesus came to load us with the grace and ability to do good works in this world that God may be glorified.

In the scripture we read today, Jesus described believers as the salt of the earth and that if we loses our salt nature, it will amount to be trampled underfoot by men. This is especially what is happening to the church at this time. We can truly be the salt to preserve and seasoned in our works. The Bible also refer to believers as light and we should let our light shine.

This light is the glory of the Lord, seen through our good works. This demand that at our different end, we make the world sweet by working with the Spirit of God in us. Bringing solution like that of Daniel and Joseph. Becoming innovative by the wisdom of God in us as we ask God for directions. Please start from your little corner and your God will be glorified. And you will be promoted in Jesus name. Peace

PRAYER: Lord, make me a salt and light of the world
