  PROMISES Isaiah 55:1-13  Devotional:- “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (V.11) NKJV One thing that is common with lovers are promises. It is part of what a true lover will want to hear. To a true lover, a promise is like a cheque capable of turning into cash. So when people who love us promise us, we cherish the promises. And when we remember them, it gladdens our heart. We even sometime feel happy enough to share it with other friends. One other terrible thing that is common with people is failing to fulfill promises. That is why it will be unwise to marry someone based on mare promises. These failure in promises of people, in some cases, are due to the inadequacy of human strength, or unforeseen circumstances that can overtake the promises, so the promised often feel deceived. YOUR CHURCH

1 Corinthians 15:47-58
Devotional: "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” (V. 58)


    As a kingdom citizen, God has planted you in your church to be part of the work force. These are people who labour to see the business of the kingdom of God established and moving forward, especially in the house of God. This is taking care of the members of the body of Christ. It is this members of the Church body that is called the church. The focus of the church should be to worship the king of the Kingdom, to maintain unity and harmony in the family; to raise the members as disciples of Jesus; to motivate them to be involved in outreach ministries and mission work. This is quite enormous and it demands the commitment of mature Christian in the workforce.

Therefore, find your place by locating a service section where you feel God has granted you grace and has called you to serve. See it as a work for the Lord. Put in your best to be an example among the believers (1 Timothy 4:12). Be part of those who encourage others to serve more faithfully and to assist the ministers of God. The word of God says God does not forget and will not forget your labour of love and your reward will surely come. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to be effective in the service of your house.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
