  GOOD REPORT   Proverbs 15:28-33 Devotional:- “The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, And a good report makes the bones healthy” (v.30) NKJV Today, in the whole world, the only kind of news celebrated by men is bad news. The reporters have also realised that people want bad news. So, they hardly report good things. If you listen to the news, read from the media or browse through the net, it is all about evil things happening all over the world. This is the trick of the enemy to cage the sons of men into sorrow and break the flow of joy in the lives of the people. The scripture we read today says, “good report makes the heart glad”. You must recognise the principle of a joyful life. It is a product of regular joyful reports (Proverbs 25:25). It is what you love to hear that your life will look like (Mark 4:24). you must know you are a product of what you are hearing. 1 Corinthians 15:47-58
Devotional: "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” (V. 58)


    As a kingdom citizen, God has planted you in your church to be part of the work force. These are people who labour to see the business of the kingdom of God established and moving forward, especially in the house of God. This is taking care of the members of the body of Christ. It is this members of the Church body that is called the church. The focus of the church should be to worship the king of the Kingdom, to maintain unity and harmony in the family; to raise the members as disciples of Jesus; to motivate them to be involved in outreach ministries and mission work. This is quite enormous and it demands the commitment of mature Christian in the workforce.

Therefore, find your place by locating a service section where you feel God has granted you grace and has called you to serve. See it as a work for the Lord. Put in your best to be an example among the believers (1 Timothy 4:12). Be part of those who encourage others to serve more faithfully and to assist the ministers of God. The word of God says God does not forget and will not forget your labour of love and your reward will surely come. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to be effective in the service of your house.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
