SUCCESS YOUR PURPOSE 2 Timothy 4:1-8 Devotional:- “And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing” (V. 8) NLT When a person turns to the Lord, invite Jesus to his/her life, and surrender to Jesus as Lord and saviour, then he/she sincerely becomes a Christian. This is the state many in the church has not attained. Many struggle to surrender their lives to the Lord because they are afraid of failure, not able to trust God to give them success, and their love for the things of this world (1 John 2:15-17). When you sincerely surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your view of success cannot but change. Apostle Paul said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7). 1 Corinthians 15:47-58
Devotional: "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” (V. 58)


    As a kingdom citizen, God has planted you in your church to be part of the work force. These are people who labour to see the business of the kingdom of God established and moving forward, especially in the house of God. This is taking care of the members of the body of Christ. It is this members of the Church body that is called the church. The focus of the church should be to worship the king of the Kingdom, to maintain unity and harmony in the family; to raise the members as disciples of Jesus; to motivate them to be involved in outreach ministries and mission work. This is quite enormous and it demands the commitment of mature Christian in the workforce.

Therefore, find your place by locating a service section where you feel God has granted you grace and has called you to serve. See it as a work for the Lord. Put in your best to be an example among the believers (1 Timothy 4:12). Be part of those who encourage others to serve more faithfully and to assist the ministers of God. The word of God says God does not forget and will not forget your labour of love and your reward will surely come. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to be effective in the service of your house.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
