SUCCESS AND YOUR PURPOSE

SUCCESS YOUR PURPOSE 2 Timothy 4:1-8 Devotional:- “And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing” (V. 8) NLT When a person turns to the Lord, invite Jesus to his/her life, and surrender to Jesus as Lord and saviour, then he/she sincerely becomes a Christian. This is the state many in the church has not attained. Many struggle to surrender their lives to the Lord because they are afraid of failure, not able to trust God to give them success, and their love for the things of this world (1 John 2:15-17). When you sincerely surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your view of success cannot but change. Apostle Paul said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7). BARRIER BREAKERS

BARRIER BREAKERS

2 Samuel 23: 8-18
Devotional: "So the three mighty men broke through the camp of the Philistines, drew water from the well of Bethlehem that was by the gate, and took it and brought it to David. Nevertheless he would not drink it, but poured it out to the LORD.” (V. 16)

As we carry out our work on earth, we are bound to face barriers. These barriers are factors that will want to stand against what we are doing and discourages us from getting our desired results. That is why we must be ready to face them and wear them out. It is because of these barrier that many give up in pursuing their desired dream of life. It could be finances, bad comments or lack of encouragement. This year, those barriers will not stop you in Jesus name.

We read about the mighty men of David. Three of them broke the barrier of the Philistine army to get water for David. You will also break the barriers before you this year and succeed. Whatever is intending to stop you, you have enough energy in God to drive on and to be innovative enough to beat the enemy.

Take time to have a retreat for a redirection of strategy, wait on the Lord in prayer and fasting to renew your strength (Isaiah 40:30-31). Whatever your dream needs, God is able to supply. Don't give in to the tricks of the enemy. Your assignment is what you are made to carry out. Face it and you will prevail at last. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, I receive new energy to face my work afresh in Jesus name.

“YOUR WORK IS YOUR MISSION ON EARTH, FACE IT”
