  OBEDIENCE Acts 13:42-52 Devotional:- “And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.” (v.52) NKJV A great instrument that can sustain joy in the life of God’s children is obedience. When a man disobey God, the enemy just strategically makes him lose his right decision. The devil has just made him follow a wrong path and shunned his part in God’s help and provision. So he cannot help but experience sorrow and regret at last. Many don’t just know why they have sorrow. They do not know that they are created by God for God (Isaiah 43:21). So when man disobeys, it is life out of course (Psalms 82:5). The disciples were led by the Holy Spirit to send Paul and Barnabas on an assignment for God (Acts 13:1-3). But as they went on their journey for God’s assignment, they were confronted with persecution by the Jews. Yet, they had great joy. MEDITATION 

Psalms 1:1-6
Devotional: "But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.” (V. 2)



    I have found out that the strength of life come through meditation. When it looks like your strength is finished, all you need is to set yourself aside to meditate on the words that can strengthen you. It is then you will be able to draw water out of the well of salvation.

The Psalmist said, people who meditate upon the word of God will find the strength of life. Then he will keep looking fresh daily. They will not be exhausted. No wonder, God told Joshua, meditate in this word of God day and night to prosper and to succeed (Joshua 1:8). David said he became wise to overcome by meditation (Psalm 119:97-100).

Friend, whenever you need a refueling to re-fire, set yourself aside for some time. Pick your Bible and other inspiring books. Meditate on the good information and pray as you stand (Isaiah 40:31). You will have a new fire in your intellect and your will power will supply the energy to your passion for action. Then you will come alive. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, rekindle your strength in me this year

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
