  PROTECTING YOUR CHURCH’S FAMILY James 3:13-18 Devotional:- “Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace” (V. 18) Understanding that the second purpose of God for man is to belong to the church family, there is therefore a strong need for you to protect the unity of your church. Unity is the soul of fellowship. Nothing on earth is more valuable to God than the church because he paid the highest price for it and He wants to protect it. For you to be able to protect the unity of your church, you need to focus on what you have in common and not your differences (Rom 14:19). God wants unity and not uniformity. God made our differences and that should be respected. We must not let our differences divide us. To protect the unity of your church you must be realistic in your expectations from people. Don’t over expect. We need to give up the thought that the church should be perfect and admit that we all are not perfect people but people that wants to be perfec...

MEDITATION 

Psalms 1:1-6
Devotional: "But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.” (V. 2)



    I have found out that the strength of life come through meditation. When it looks like your strength is finished, all you need is to set yourself aside to meditate on the words that can strengthen you. It is then you will be able to draw water out of the well of salvation.

The Psalmist said, people who meditate upon the word of God will find the strength of life. Then he will keep looking fresh daily. They will not be exhausted. No wonder, God told Joshua, meditate in this word of God day and night to prosper and to succeed (Joshua 1:8). David said he became wise to overcome by meditation (Psalm 119:97-100).

Friend, whenever you need a refueling to re-fire, set yourself aside for some time. Pick your Bible and other inspiring books. Meditate on the good information and pray as you stand (Isaiah 40:31). You will have a new fire in your intellect and your will power will supply the energy to your passion for action. Then you will come alive. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, rekindle your strength in me this year

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
