USING WHAT GOD GIVES YOU Romans 12:3-8 Devotional:- “So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another” (V.5) God who has made each of us and expect us to make the best use of what he has given us. Instead of envying others’ SHAPE, He wants you to be happy using the one he has given you. Your first step for been the best with your shape is to locate as many as possible gifts and special abilities in your life. Make a list out of them and ask which of them you have seen result and others do confirm (Ephesians 5:17). The best way to discover your best is by excising them in serving God, and then you will discover your good area in life. To know what you can best do to serve God by blessing humanity, observe your personality and your passion which is your heart desire (Galatians 6:4). Ask yourself what do I really enjoy doing most? What do I really feel fulfilled doing? Examine the lesson you’ve learnt in your experiences in life. (Deuteronomy 11:2)...

PASSION

PASSION

Romans 9:6-13
Devotional: "For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh,” (V. 3)

God has made each man and woman with a passion. Passion is the expression of our emotions. Our emotion is part of our soul that is created to help in carrying out or drive us into action till there is a result. When God want to use anyone to achieve a work, He will reveal the work to the ‘intellect’ of the person, the intellect will move it to the ‘will power’ which takes decision and this decisions are transmitted to the emotion who will help to drive it out with intense passion till there is a result of achievements. An example you can see is in Jeremiah 1:9-12.

In our Scripture of today, you will observe how Paul spoke of the nation of Israel so passionately. Ordinary desire is not expressed like that. Man of passion are die hearted. Your passion is a deposit of energy that cannot be exhausted.

Friend, God has given you that passion to work with. You must not sit down with a passion, else it will frustrate those who don't let it flow. It is like a fire in your bone, you better let it escape to the right place, or else it will consume you (Jeremiah 20:9). All you are doing now should reveal to all around you the beauty of the kingdom of God. It's time you translate that passion and energy to effect positive change in work, business and in the kingdom of God. Then, you are fulfilling your destiny. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to identify my passion and use it rightly

“IF YOU DON'T LET GO YOUR PASSION, IT WILL SHORT YOU DOWN“
