JOY

JOY John 16:16-24  Devotional:- “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” (V. 20) NKJV God’s word says when sorrow endures till a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). This is an assurance and evidence that what is called sorrow is not a permanent situation in the life of a child of God. This is because it is certain that when a night comes, morning is always the next. The night is evidence of the coming morning. This is evidence that what you are going through right now will soon result in joy. In fact, the tougher it is, the closer the joy. May you see it. The scripture we read today gave us a new dimension of hope in our lives. Jesus said, our sorrow shall turn to joy. That which we think is a thing of sorrow shall suddenly become a thing of joy. Jesus likens it to a woman who is in labour. Women in this state often feel as if the end has come. But ...

DIVINE VISION

DIVINE VISION

Habakkuk 2:1-4
Devotional: "Then the LORD answered me and said: "Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.” (V. 2)

Visions are revelations given to a man to acquaint him with the purpose of his creation. It is the creator revealing His intention for making a creature. Vision is showing a future created for a man to work on. There is no one on earth who came by mistake. It is for the kingdom of God to be established on the earth. We are all needed and employed to work on the earth. Our Creator is the one who knows the reason He made us and this is the work we are created to do.

To receive a vision demands waiting on the Lord. This is creating a time to set yourself aside to seek the face of the Lord to show you your part in life. It is never too late to do this. In the scripture we read today, Habakkuk waited on the Lord and the vision of his life was revealed to him.

Friend, don't let life drive you on in confusion (Proverbs 29:18). Create time to receive direction from the Lord. The word of God said “Everyone who ask receives and everyone who seek finds and to everyone who knocks, the door shall be opened (Matthew 7:7-12). You are not a mistake. Remember we shall be judged in eternity based on our assignment on earth (2 Corinthians 5:10). You can still locate your path of life today. And your life will turn around for better. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, direct me to my path in life

“IN YOUR PATH IS ALL THAT YOU NEED IN LIFE”
